Fixing the following checkpatch.pl errors and warning:
WARNING: Block comments use * on subsequent lines

CHECK: Please don't use multiple blank lines

CHECK: Alignment should match open parenthesis

CHECK: spaces preferred around that '<<'

CHECK: spaces preferred around that '-'

CHECK: Alignment should match open parenthesis
