He he.  I reviewed all the way up to here and I was thinking "This
looks good, but I really should compile this after every patch to
make sure it doesn't break the build."  But apparently it does break
the build or we wouldn't need this patch to fix it.

Breaking the build is not allowed.   Fortunately it looks like it
should be super easy to redo [patch 12/15].  You can just send it
as a reply to the original email.
