Dear Larry,
I am working on making the R8712 to work as AP, i had few queries on the below 
mail chain,m i would be of great help if you can clarify.
1) Do u have the hostapd source which works for AP?
2) We want to make R8712 as an AP with mac80211 and nl80211, what we were 
wondering is does the firmware that is already present will support AP or not, 
if you confirm that AP works on R8712 it means that AP support is already there 
for the firmware 
Please help in resolving the above queries
