[PATCH 3/3] Staging: rtl8192su: Move rtl8192su/ieee80211/* to rtl8192su/

Anders Kaseorg andersk at ksplice.com
Fri Aug 28 16:23:48 UTC 2009

The current rtl8192su Makefile builds objects in the ieee80211
subdirectory, which is a violation of the kbuild specification,
according to Documentation/kbuild/makefiles.txt:

> --- 3.6 Descending down in directories
>
> A Makefile is only responsible for building objects in its own
> directory. Files in subdirectories should be taken care of by
> Makefiles in these subdirs. The build system will automatically
> invoke make recursively in subdirectories, provided you let it know of
> them.

This was also problematic for tools that do certain kinds of analysis
on the kernel tree, such as Ksplice.
